The short version: play fair, be decent to other players, and it's free to use as-is.
GoTrivia is provided free, with no signup, "as is" and without warranty of any kind. Trivia questions come from third-party public APIs (Open Trivia DB and The Trivia API) — we don't guarantee their accuracy. Games run in temporary rooms that anyone with the room code can join; the host is responsible for who they share a code with.
Nicknames, drawings (in Pictionary), and written answers are visible to other players in your room and, for completed games, may appear on public leaderboards. Don't submit anything abusive, illegal, or that impersonates someone else — we may remove it or close a room without notice.
We do our best to keep things running, but realtime multiplayer over the public internet occasionally hiccups — a dropped connection, a stale question, a service outage upstream. We're not liable for lost game progress or any damages arising from using the site.
